THE EVENT
With the themes of Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security, Sustainable Communities and Green Cities, and Sustainable Business, Malaysia Innovates Summit (MIS) 2022 is an initiative to induct a broad policy perspective on research and development, commercialization and innovation (R&D & C&I) practices and facilitate multi-stakeholder collaboration and partnership towards a conducive innovation ecosystem in Malaysia.
WHY a.c.e?
Launched by our Prime Minister, YAB Dato Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob and opening speech by Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Economy), UNDP and EPU was looking for a project coordinator that was very experienced in coordinating with participating government ministries, agencies and external parties including private sectors, academia and CSOs.
a.c.e worked hand-in-hand with UNDP and EPU in developing the event concept and strategising the hybrid conference. a.c.e made sure the deliveries are driving results and engaging with the relevant stakeholders.
OBJECTIVES
Malaysia has been an active player in the innovation industry. A lineup of esteemed speakers and experts in the field has been invited to explore different topics on advancing the Malaysia innovation ecosystem. The 2-day conference was conducted with various informative sessions such as Plenaries, Breakout rooms, and pocket talks. There were also workshops and exhibition whereby the attendees could meet the innovators close and personal. With goals in mind and key responsibilities, a.c.e has focused on 3 main areas for MIS 2022:
