This hybrid event aimed to spotlight and promote sustainable and responsible investment practices within the financial sector. It served as a platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to engage in discussions on the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in SRI.
EXECUTIONS
Our role as the event manager was to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for both in-person and virtual attendees.
Planning and Setup: The preparation began with a meticulous setup at the Securities Commission Malaysia, featuring advanced audio-visual equipment, LED screens, and a stage designed for dual engagement. The venue was equipped with high-speed internet to support uninterrupted live streaming via Hubilo.
Technical Support and Rehearsals: A day before the event, we conducted comprehensive technical rehearsals. This included testing the dedicated LAN internet, live streaming capabilities, and coordinating with virtual speakers. Our team ensured that every speaker, including those dialing in, were thoroughly briefed and comfortable with the platform.
Program Coordination: On the event day, we managed a smooth registration process for both physical and virtual attendees. The event began with a welcome address, seamlessly transitioning into keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive sessions. Topics such as planetary health, climate commitments, and sustainable technologies were covered extensively. We ensured all presentations, slides, and sign interpreter videos were correctly displayed on the main and side LED screens, as well as the live stream.
Interactive Engagement: To maximize engagement, we incorporated interactive elements such as Slido for real-time polling and Q&A sessions, allowing both physical and virtual attendees to participate actively. We also facilitated networking sessions, booth exhibitions, and demos, creating a dynamic and engaging environment.
Post-Event Coordination: Following the event, we managed an orderly departure for in-person attendees and ensured virtual participants had access to recorded sessions and resources. Feedback was collected to evaluate the event’s success and identify areas for improvement, ensuring continuous enhancement of future events.
